Julie was born and raised in the suburbs of Akron, Ohio where she attended parochial and Waldorf schools. After graduating high school she moved to Tennessee where she became a licensed massage therapist. 
Having learned skills such as knitting and sewing through her time at Waldorf, Julie continues to add to her interests with pottery, painting and other forms of art. Julie nurtures her two adopted donkeys along with over 30 chickens. She is a doting aunt to 3 nieces and nephews and loves seeing the world through their eyes and seeing their God given gifts revealed. 
Julie is passionate about gardening, cultivating and preserving her harvest and has challenged herself to grow a years worth of food. 
Julie is excited to engage in the wonderful memories taking place at Ferntop.
