About the Event
(ages 3-8 yrs.)
In July, the Ferntop garden is bursting at the seams with flowers, herbs, fruits and veggies. Our week will be spent playing, working and creating in our large play garden. Children will get acquainted with the 6 parts of a plant and learn what helps living things grow. We will harvest food and flowers throughout the week that the children will get to take home on Thursday. Camp will be led by Renee Parks and Tess Robinson.
- making a berry smoothie from the Ferntop orchard
- learning the 6 basic plant parts
- marching in sunflower parade
- making plant paintbrushes
- Get acquainted with Pee Wee Worm and watch a Pee Wee puppet show
