Ferntop Nature School presents
Sing and Play is a rich experience for both caregiver and child (ages 3-5).
Meeting Thursdays, from 3:30 - 5:00, children will not only play, but will receive loving guidance in social emotional skills and imaginative play, all while challenging their bodies and minds. Under the care of Ms. Tess, a trained Musikgarten teacher, and experienced nature/ forest educator, and her assistant Ms. Julie, Children, ages 3-5, will enjoy 45 minutes of playtime on Ferntop’s nationally recognized natural playscape, and other enchanting outdoor environments, then gently transition to a music and creative movement time on our large outdoor pavilion.

Using elements of the God’s Children Sing Musikgarten curriculum, your child will have 45 minutes of song, storytelling, and movement with an emphasis on Bible stories, the wonders of creation, and songs of praise. Parents will be expected to be on the floor, participating with their child.
Parents/Caregivers will be a part of a creative musical experience as we learn - not just in nature, but with nature.
This is a parent participation class, and parents are expected to stay for the duration of the 1.5 hour period.
