Preschool Teacher-Outdoor Program
We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our Christ-centered outdoor school. This
role is ideal for someone who delights in fostering curiosity, wonder, and a love of learning
through nature-based experiences. At the heart of our program is a play-based approach to social
and emotional learning, where children grow through connection, exploration, and meaningful
interactions with others and the natural world.
Responsibilities:

• Guide and nurture preschool-aged children in an outdoor learning environment

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities rooted in exploration and play in cooperation with a teaching team

• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth through meaningful, play based learning experiences

• Use play as a foundation for social and emotional learning, helping children develop cooperation, communication, empathy, and self-regulation

• Create a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered classroom culture

• Collaborate with staff and communicate effectively with families

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children and a strong understanding of child development

• A curious, joyful, and wonder-filled approach to teaching and learning

• Appreciation for play-based learning and its role in social and emotional development

• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Availability to work summer camp sessions

• Alignment with the mission and values of a Christ-centered school

Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
