About the Event
Join us on August 30, 9 AM - 4 PM at Ferntop Nature School, a peaceful, rural haven for a transformative day with Carolyn Weber, author of Surprised By Oxford. Carolyn will lead us in exploring the powerful intersection of faith, literature, and the written word.
🌸 About the Retreat 🌸
“Reading, really reading, in our culture today is an act of rebellion,” says Carolyn. This retreat will delve into how we, as Christians, are called to be “people of the Book,” embracing Scripture and all forms of reading as ways to deepen our relationship with God, understand ourselves, and empathize with others.
Together, we'll learn how reading the Word helps us read the stories of our own lives and the world around us—aligning all stories with the ultimate narrative of Christ’s redemptive work.
