Color on Parade! Art Camp with Mrs. Elaine

(ages 3-10 yrs.)

(This camp will divide into 2 groups for art activities-older and younger. Children will come together for playtime, meeting, lunch and afternoon story & snack)

Color and how it happens will fill our days with bright discoveries.  Each day will feature painting, a famous artist, a storybook related to the theme, and music to inspire the process. God’s handiwork in all of color will be celebrated while children gain basic art skills, appreciation for fine art, and have lots of FUN!  We will wrap up our week with our very own art show open to the parents. 

We are thrilled to have professional artist Elaine Husband leading this camp. 

• Some activities will include:

• Exploring primary and secondary colors 

• Painting still life

• Designing & printing patterns for shirts/dresses

• Creating our own imaginary animal

• Exploring light and shadow
