Bug Camp

(ages 3-8 yrs.)

All creatures are worthy of a closer look, even the ones that scare us a little. Bug lovers-and those of us who are learning to love them, will creep into the world of insects that make their home at Ferntop through investigation, imagination and experiences. 

Some activities include:

• learning bug anatomy through creative dress up
• becoming a bug detective and searching for clues around the farm
• creating inventions to lure insects closer so we can explore them
• Meeting Riley the Roly Poly and learning all about his “bug hotel”
• making a bee puppet and participating in a puppet show starring Polly, a magic fairy, and a cast of honeybees.
